What this website collects

This site is a static website. It has no database, no user accounts, and no server that stores what you type. The quote form does not send anything anywhere by itself: pressing the final button opens WhatsApp on your own device with the answers written into a draft message. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to press send in WhatsApp, and this website never sees what you typed.

The site records anonymous, cookie-free page-view statistics (page address, referrer, country, device type) so the business can see which pages are useful. These statistics cannot identify you.

What happens when you make contact

If you call the number on this site, or send a WhatsApp message, MechanaWare Handyman Services will hold whatever you chose to tell them — typically a name, a phone number and a description of the job — for as long as it takes to quote for the work, carry it out, and keep the ordinary business records that follow. WhatsApp messages are held in the WhatsApp account on the business phone and are covered by WhatsApp’s own terms and encryption.

Who else sees it

Nobody. MechanaWare Handyman Services does not sell, rent or share contact details with anyone, and this website has no marketing tracking, no advertising pixels and no social media trackers embedded in it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call 07840 971859 and ask — it is a small business and the answer will come from the person who holds the phone.
